Sandy Aitken Founder and Director's Bio
Sandy is an experienced Strategy and Consulting IT Executive working at C-Level who has led and established Cloud Consulting and delivery businesses most recently with Capgemini and AVA/Accenture where he was involved and led some of the largest SAP and ERP cloud migrations.
Sandy’s competences cover a broad spectrum of areas from Business Strategy, Sales and Marketing, Cloud Strategy and Migration, Merger Integration and Large SI program delivery, across a wide variety of technologies e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, AWS, Azure, Cisco, Ericsson, HP, and a number of infrastraucture providers. He has also designed and led a number of AI/BI/ML programs as well as IOT initiatives both the business outcome as well as technology delivery.
Throughout his career he has been known for achieving the outcome and solving problems, this experience gives him unique insights of Systems Integrators and how they operate which in turn has provided clients with the ability to better understand how to partner successfully. He is recognised as a problem solver and someone who can cut through serious IT/business issues to get results quickly.
Having worked in senior leadership roles for some of the largest SI’s and Consulting firms ( PWC, Deloitte, Accenture, IBM), Sandy has managed $500M+ P&Ls as well as substantial teams, most recently a 520 person practise focused on IT transformation programs. His experience has covered most sectors, Financial Services, Government, Healthcare, Telecoms, Retail, Utilities and Resources. Always maintaining a clear vision of not just the technology challenges but more importantly how transformation impacts a business - Business outcome based technology transformation has been a key to his success with senior clients.
Having a passion for future technology innovations has led Sandy into many new and exciting areas such as advanced Biometric Security and its applicability to current problems. Most recently he led the largest Google AI/BI program in the Southern Hemisphere for a large Australian organisation.
