Sandy Aitken, Director
Thirty years leading technology transformation at PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, IBM and Capgemini, now giving independent advice to boards and executives on AI.
Sandy has held senior leadership roles in some of the largest consulting firms and systems integrators, including PwC, Deloitte, Accenture and IBM. Most recently, with Capgemini and Avanade/Accenture, he built and led cloud consulting and delivery businesses and led some of the largest SAP and ERP cloud migrations.
He has run P&Ls of more than A$500 million and large teams, most recently a 520-person practice focused on IT transformation. His work spans financial services, government, healthcare, telecommunications, retail, utilities and resources, across SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, AWS and Azure, with AI, BI and machine-learning programmes led from business case to delivery.
Having sat on the systems-integrator side of the table, he knows how they operate, and helps clients partner with them on terms that hold. Today the practice applies that experience to what every organisation now faces: AI agents doing real work without the roles, controls and reporting we expect of people. The approach is the same one that works on large programmes: fixed-fee first steps, board-ready outputs and an honest verdict on what should stop.
